The Mary Rose, Henry VIII's favourite warship from the 16th century, sunk in the Solent in 1545 and raised from the seabed over 470 years later in 1982. Her dramatic story is now revealed in full inside an award-winning Museum.

HMS Warrior 1860, the fastest, largest and most powerful warship in the world when she was launched. Britain’s first iron-hulled, armoured warship and the pride of Queen Victoria’s Fleet.

On the other side of the harbour, in Gosport, a complimentary waterbus away, is the Royal Navy Submarine Museum where you can visit HMS Alliance Britain's only remaining WW2 submarine.

TESTIMONIAL - WHAT DO THE SALAMANDER SAILING ADVENTURE GUESTS SAY ?

“Amazing day out to Cowes and weekend away!”

"Booked a weekend trip to Lymington including a day trip to Cowes with a bunch of friends and I must say it was one of the best experiences I have had. The hosts (Sue and Chris) were very accommodating and friendly - Chris even let me steer the yacht! The cooked breakfast was amazing quality and in sum a great break. Can not recommend enough! "
